What are the latest trends in photography as we head into 2022?

One thing about photography is that it is always changing, with the technology getting better and better. And this not only for the high-end cameras, but also includes cell phones, glasses and go pros, etc.

Add to this the ever-changing ability to edit photos easily, and efficiently and you can see just how much of an explosion there is in the pure raw number of images being produced. With that said, how can the professional stand out and make money? The professional will always be there for one big reason, he is always learning and perfecting his craft. With the quality improving daily, the general public is demanding higher quality, better storytelling, and technology in delivering such.

The big wildcard I think will be in production for the metaverse as it evolves in 2022. The guys who can produce images, graphs and videos that meet the demand that is coming will do very well and build a name for themselves.

Another big trend will be in the development of applications that allow semipro to amateurs to enhance their photos. Photographers who master this trend will do very well in 2020.
